North Georgia Wine Tour
Description
We'll meet at Trader Vic's restaurant in Atlanta at 8:45 am and get on board a comfortable bus that will take us on a road trip to North Georgia, a region known for its variety of top-quality wine. Is it really as great as they say? We'll taste it for ourselves!
We'll head north of Atlanta, an hour and a half's journey, to explore three local wineries and vineyards, where we'll discover the authentic taste of Georgian wines. The first stop will be Kaya Vineyard & Winery, where we'll spend an hour learning all about the process of harvesting and producing wine.
Our second stop will be The Cottage Vineyard & Winery, where we'll spend another unforgettable hour surrounded by a spectacular vineyard in North Georgia. Finally, we'll visit the CeNita Vineyards, a beautiful area specialising grape harvesting to produce top-quality products.
For the final touch to this incredible trip, we'll stop for an hour in Helen, a Bavarian-style city with a unique landscape, known for its vineyards and the beautiful Unicoi State Park. You'll have free time to explore the city at your own pace.
At the end of the day, we'll return to Atlanta, arriving back at the starting point by 6:15 pm.
