After meeting at the designated time at Atins Port, we'll hop on a traditional boat in search of these elegant scarlet ibises. Let's set sail!

We'll begin by sailing down the Preguiças River and we'll move away from the coast as the afternoon sun grows softer. This is the time of the day when scarlet ibises are the most active! Once we're further along the river, we'll begin to spot the first examples of these birds.

Lastly, we'll arrive at Isla do Mangue, where these birds begin their flocking flight and paint the sky with their intense red and pink colours. Did you know that the scarlet colour of their plumage starts to intensify from their very first flight?

We'll anchor to admire this natural spectacle from the boat, while we tell you about their behaviour, diet, and mating rituals. These birds are as fascinating as they are beautiful!

After enjoying this incredible experience, we'll sail back to our initial meeting point, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 2 hours.
