Corinth, Mycenae, Nafplion & Epidaurus Day Trip

The tour went very well. Darío was an excellent guide, very attentive and friendly. Things to improve: the meeting time information wasn't shown on the voucher; I had to use the Key link. Regarding the time, we should add about 10 or 15 minutes for both lunch and the visit to Epidaurus.

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 26 Athanasiou Diakou Street, and depart for the Corinth Canal, where we'll make a short stop to enjoy one of the most amazing engineering works in history!

Following our visit, we'll head for the Argolid region, where Mycenae, one of the major centers of Greek civilization, awaits us. Once in the city, we'll visit its archaeological site, home of the legendary kingdom of Agamemnon, where we'll be transported to the scenes of the pages of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey.

After visiting the citadel, the Lion's Gate and the Tomb of Agamemnon, we'll head to Nafplion, which was the first capital of modern Greece. Upon arrival, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to enjoy lunch and explore the town at your own pace. Admire the imposing Venetian fortress of Palamidi and the castle of Bourtzi. Then, take a stroll through the charming streets of the center.

Refueled, we'll continue our journey to Epidaurus, birthplace of Asclepius, the god of medicine. The crown jewel of this town is without a doubt, the Epidaurus Theater. Please note that tickets to the Epidaurus site are not included in the price of the excursion. You can buy the tickets at the site on the day of the activity. If you do not wish to take the guided tour of the site, you will have 1 hour free while the rest of the group takes the tour.

Finally, we'll start our way back to Athens. Arrival at the meeting point is scheduled 10 hours after pickup.

Optional Lunch

The tour includes optional lunch in Nafplion. The menu consists of two courses of traditional Greek food and dessert. Drinks are not included.
