The Acropolis Museum
To delve deeper into the history of the area, do not miss the opportunity to visit the Museum of the Acropolis. Here you will find a number of original pieces from Ancient Greece, including sculptures and objects rescued from the Acropolis itself.
For example, the female columns of the Erectheoinc, known as the Caryatids, can be found here. Those that can be seen within the Acropolis are simply a remake of the originals, which are now held in the museum where they can be looked after.
