Activity Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at 26 Athanasiou Diakou Street for a panoramic tour of the centre of Athens.
Along the bus route, we'll pass Syntagma Square, the National Garden, Hadrian's Arch, St. Paul's Church, the House of Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Catholic Cathedral, the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, the National Library, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Zappeion and the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Acropolis, the symbol of Athens. Once inside, we'll have the opportunity to see many of the most famous monuments of Classical Greece: the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Propylaea. After the tour, we'll have about 30 minutes of free time.
Coming down from the ‘Upper City’, we'll make our last stop at the Acropolis Museum, the most important museum of the city. Here, we'll guide you through its most important works, explaining their significance.
Finally, after a tour of about 5 hours, we'll conclude this activity in the Acropolis area.
