Enjoy a unique afternoon by booking a half-day trip to Cape Sounion, home to the majestic Temple of Poseidon, surrounded practically entirely by sea.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 26 Athanasiou Diakou Street and head to Cape Sounion, by taking the coastal road which offers spectacular views of the Saronic Gulf and of the following beaches: Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza, until you get to the southernmost part of the region of Attica.

Upon arrival, you will visit the Temple of Poseidon, a splendid construction founded in the fifth century B.C., built on a 60-meter high promontory surrounded by the sea.

After enjoying impressive views of the Aegean Sea from the ruins, you’ll have time to relax, take photos and enjoy the stunning and peaceful scenery, before heading back to the capital.

Then, after 4.5 hours of sightseeing, we'll bring the experience to an end back at the meeting point.

Podría haber sido mejor. Pocas explicaciones, te recogen en muy pocos sitios y te dejan en los que más de camino están. Sobre el tour, explicó cosas de camino que le aportó valor a la excursión, pero en el propio templo poca cosa, 10 minutos y muy breve. El sitio es bastante recomendable, pero tal vez para ir más por tu cuenta y quedarte en las playas de los alrededores de paso que son preciosas!!!!!
