Tour Highlights: Lake Nasser Cruise
Day 1
At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Aswan and take you to the picturesque shores of Abu Simbel. Upon reaching the temple grounds, we'll board a comfortable cruise ship conveniently docked nearby, treating ourselves to a delightful onboard lunch to refuel.
Following this, a guided tour awaits at the temples of Abu Simbel and Nefertari. What significant legacy did the mighty Pharaoh Ramses II leave behind? After learning the monumental history, you'll enjoy some leisure time until late afternoon when we regroup for dinner aboard the cruise ship.
Day 2
We'll begin the day with a satisfying breakfast in the ship's restaurant as we set sail toward the ancient citadel of Qasr Ibrim. We'll delve into the history of this strategic fortress and explore the nearby Temple of Amada — did you know it holds the title of the oldest temple in Nubia? Our journey also includes visits to the Temple of Derr and the tomb of Penut, a mausoleum with intriguing mysteries linked to a wealthy governor of Ramses IV. Following these guided tours, we'll return to the ship for lunch, continuing our cruise adventure on Lake Nasser.
Day 3
As we reach the third day of the cruise, we'll anchor alongside the mesmerizing ruins of Wadi el Sebowa. This Nubian enclave invites us to immerse ourselves in the captivating history of Ancient Egypt, exploring the temples of Dakka and Mahrakka. These ancient sanctuaries vividly display remnants associated with Thoth, the Egyptian god of writing, wisdom, music, and spells. Our special day concludes with an onboard culinary experience as we sail towards Aswan.
Day 4
On the final day, we'll witness the breathtaking sunrise in the southern skies of Egypt during breakfast on board, taking in the view of the Aswan Dam. Following a rejuvenating meal, we'll disembark on the island of Kalabsha's temples. Here, we'll try unlocking the secret codes of the Temple of Kertasi, a structure honoring the cryptic and mystical goddess Isis. The guided tour of the island will end as we bring you pack to your hotel in Aswan.
Once in the city, you can opt to enjoy lunch at one of the numerous restaurants offering typical North African cuisine. Alternatively, if your flight is departing in three hours, we can escort you to the Aswan airport for a hassle-free check-in and security clearance.
What's the cruise ship like?
Our five-day cruise on Lake Nasser will take place aboard the Nubian Sea or a similar boat.
Note on prices
The indicated price per person is based on two people sharing a double cabin. Single travelers must pay an individual supplement.
All-Inclusive
Our price includes everything: transportation, hotels, boats, meals (breakfasts, lunches, and dinners), guides, excursions, visits, and entrance fees (except for the entrance to Tutankhamun's Tomb).
Other agencies do not include everything, so their final price may double, making it almost impossible to compare with our price.
For bookings made before July 1st 2024, taxes and tips are not included and will have to be paid on arrival.
Pickup
This activity includes pickup from hotels, hostels, and apartments in the city of Aswan.
However, if your hotel or boat is located on one of the following islands of Aswan, we'll pick you up at the meeting points mentioned below:
- Accommodations on West Aswan Island (Gharb Aswan): we'll pick you up at West Bank Ferry Terminal.

If your hotel or boat in Aswan is neither in the city center nor on any of the above-mentioned islands, you'll have to go to one of the meeting points indicated.
Important: accommodation in Aswan the day before
This 4-day cruise on Lake Nasser is exclusively available on Fridays. Hotel pickups in Aswan begin at 10 am on this day. To ensure a prompt pickup, we advise staying overnight in Aswan on Thursday, the night before. Please note that the accommodation in Aswan on the preceding day is not included in the cruise price.
If your arrival in Aswan is on Friday, the same day the cruise starts, there is a high likelihood that you may miss the pickup and, consequently, be unable to board the cruise.
Cancellation
From 20th December to 2nd January (Christmas), and Easter, refunds will not be available in the event of cancellation.
Booking Rooms with Children
When reserving rooms with children, it's important to note that triple or quadruple rooms and cribs aren't available. Therefore, sharing a room among three or more adults isn't an option.
