Ybycui National Park + La Rosada Museum Tour
Ybycui National Park + La Rosada Museum Tour
At 8 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Asunción for a two-hour drive to our destination.
We'll arrive at Ybycui National Park, a protected area in Paraguay that preserves more than 5000 hectares of subtropical rainforest. We'll start a hiking route where we'll be able to appreciate the rich biodiversity of its wildlife.
Along the way, we'll find different trails that end at beautiful streams and waterfalls with crystal clear waters, and you can even take a refreshing dip! We'll make a stop where you'll have some free time to have a snack and lunch surrounded by nature.
After regaining your strength, we'll continue our route to the La Rosada Museum, located inside the park. There we'll learn about the history of this old iron foundry that was devastated during the War of the Triple Alliance. Did you know that it was one of the first metal industries in America? It was later rebuilt on original plans and foundations and declared a National Monument.
After learning all about its history, we'll return to Asunción to drop you back at your hotel at 4 pm.
