At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Asuncion and then head to Lake Ypacaraí.
We'll arrive at San Bernardino, one of the most famous summer destinations in Paraguay. Here, you'll find the famous Lake Ypacaraí, which has inspired many love songs and poems. We'll navigate its calm waters in a small boat!
From the boat, we'll spot the famous Hotel del Lago, a 19th-century building that has hosted presidents such as Franklin D. Roosevelt and Charles de Gaulle. We'll dock to take a tour of this hotel and learn a little more about its past while admiring its elegant architecture and furnishings.
Then, we'll take a break to have lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we'll take a guided tour of San Bernardino. We'll let ourselves get lost in the city's avenues, squares, and main buildings – you'll be charmed from beginning to end!
Finally, we'll take you back to Asunción after 5 hours of sightseeing.
