Iguazú Falls & Itaipú Dam Trip
Iguazú Falls & Itaipú Dam Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Asunción at the indicated time and from there, catch our bus that will take us to Ciudad del Este.
Upon arrival in Ciudad del Este, we'll stop to have breakfast before continuing on our journey. Finally, we'll arrive at the Itaipú Dam, which was the largest hydroelectric power plant in the world until 2011. We'll visit the inside of the dam to learn about its history and why it is so important for the environment in Paraguay and Brazil.
After visiting this wonder of the modern world, we'll stop at a local restaurant for lunch. An hour and a half away, Iguazú Falls awaits us, where we will have time to walk along the footbridges and marvel at the breathtaking scenery. You won't believe your eyes!
At 7 pm, we'll head to the bus station in Ciudad del Este to start the return trip back to Asuncion. We'll drop you off at your hotel around midnight.
Options
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose an option with or without lunch. If you go for the option with lunch, you'll be served a meal consisting of a starter, a main course and a dessert.
In addition, you can decide if you'd like to go on the day trip with or without pickup. If you choose the cheaper option that doesn't have pickup, you'll make your own way to the bus station in Asunción instead of being picked up from your hotel.
