Are you a music lover visiting Asheville, North Carolina? If so, this tour of the city's musical history is perfect for you. Dive into Asheville's musical side!
Description
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the scheduled time at Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville from where this exciting tour will begin. Once we're all together we'll set off.
As we take our first steps on this musically awe-inspiring tour of Asheville, we'll learn about the former and current artists who hail from this part of North Carolina. Some of the artists that we'll talk about have been inducted into both the regional and national Hall of Fame. Ever heard of Fred Foster or Roberta Flack? As well as these famous names, we'll also check out the local venues where acts who visit Asheville regularly play such as the ExploreAsheville.com Arena which boasts an impressive capacity of 7,200 people.
Following on from these we'll make 2 separate historical and informative stops. We'll stop at the Citizen Vinyl store on O'Henry Avenue to explore one of today's state-of-the-art vinyl production facilities, which also boasts a laid-back, vibrant listening café, and an unmatched vinyl store. Here, you'll receive a discount coupon which can be used on a later date if you plan on making purchases at the store. Recently, Citizens Vinyl was named "Best Bar in America" by Esquire!
Lastly, after walking around the culturally spirited city of Asheville, we'll arrive at the famous Moogseum: a top-rated museum which pays homage to Bob Moog and his historic Moog Synthesizers. Here, you'll also be given another discount code so that you can continue your tour at the Moogseum.
Finally, after 1 hour together, this Asheville Music History Tour will be brought to an end. Until next time!
