Capri Day Trip
After picking you up at your hotel in Ascea, we'll leave for the port of Salerno or Pisciotta to catch the ferry to the island of Capri, one of the most enchanting tourist destinations in the world. Famous for being a favorite destination for VIPs, this island has much to offer: beautiful landscapes, trendy restaurants, exclusive boutiques, and much more. Ready to experience it for yourself?
Once we disembark at the port of Marina Grande, we'll travel 10 minutes by minibus to the small town of Anacapri, located in the upper part of the island. First, we'll head to Villa San Michele, the former residence of Axel Munthe, a Swedish doctor and writer who had a deep connection to Capri. Here, you'll discover the details of his life on the island as you make your way through some of the rooms of the house. You'll also be able to walk through its beautiful gardens, which boast a truly unique and breathtaking panorama of the island.
At the end of the tour of the villa, you'll have some free time for lunch in Anacapri. Then, we'll get back on the minibus and head to the town of Capri. We'll start at the famous Piazzetta, the beating heart of the town and meeting place of Capri's locals and celebrities from all over the world.
From here, we'll walk along Via Vittorio Emanuele and then enter the Gardens of Augustus, one of the most famous viewpoints of the island where you'll be able to see the Faraglioni, the iconic coastal rock formation eroded by the waves.
After getting our fill of beautiful photographs, we'll walk along the island's most famous shopping avenue, full of fashionable boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. You'll feel like a real VIP! At the end of the day, we'll head back to the port and return to Ascea, arriving at your hotel around 7:30 pm.
