North Tanzania 6 Day Safari

Day 1

At the agreed time, we'll be waiting for you at the airport to take you in an air-conditioned vehicle to the hotel in Arusha. You'll settle in, and rest until the next day while enjoying the view of the African wildlife.

Day 2

The day will start with a delicious breakfast at the hotel and a brief meeting with the guides, who will explain the tour of the safari. Then we'll drive for two hours to the Tarangire National Park, an area famous for the many African elephants that live there.

From our safari car, we'll explore Tarangire and enjoy the unique image of the rows of elephants walking among the baobabs - pure African essence! We'll also discover the unique curiosities of these bushes that can reach thirty meters (98 feet) in height. Our last stop will be the hotel, where we'll have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3

As the sun rises in Tarangire, we'll have breakfast enjoying the incredible views of this natural area and get in the jeep. We'll play a few driving games that will be sure to give you an adrenaline rush before setting off for Serengeti.

On the third day, we'll try to see the elusive African wildebeest. This migratory mammal lives in continuous movement in search of areas with water in the savannah. We'll discover its characteristics and settle down in a local hotel to have dinner and rest until the next day.

Day 4

On the fourth day, we'll get up early and drive through the African savannah to reach the Ngorongoro conservation area, considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After inspecting the area, we'll approach Odulpai Gorge, an important archaeological site where human remains from two million years ago were found!

We'll stop for lunch near Odulpai Gorge, and continue exploring Ngorongoro in search of giraffes, leopards and other wild animals. Finally, we'll enjoy a well-deserved rest at the hotel, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 5

The last day of our safari will be spent touring Ngorongoro Park. We'll descend the crater floor to enjoy a picnic by the Lerai forest and have the opportunity to see the hippos bathing in a nearby lake.

We'll drive in search of the unique black rhino that lives in this area of Tanzania. When the last lights of the day start to fade, we'll drive back to the hotel in Arusha, where we'll rest and have a well-deserved farewell dinner.

Day 6

After picking up our luggage and enjoying breakfast at the hotel, it is time to say goodbye to the African savannah and go home. We'll take you back to the airport and end the safari.

Accommodation

The safari includes five nights of accommodation at the following hotels:

Day 1 + 5 - Arusha: Maura Apartments & Lodges.

Day 2 - Tarangire National Park: Nsya Lodge.

Day 3 + 4- Serengeti: Golden Safari Camp.

Safari + 2 Days in Zanzibar

At the time of booking, you can complete your safari experience with two days in Zanzibar. With this option, you'll have the opportunity to rest after six intense days in a relaxed and quiet atmosphere in Stone Town, the main city of the island.

We'll take you to the airport from Arusha, where you'll board a flight to this African island. There you can enjoy the sea and the beach, and tour the old town of the oldest eastern city in Africa. You'll appreciate the fusion of influences around its streets! This will also give you the chance to visit the House of Wonders, the sultan's residence and the Arab fort.

After these two well-deserved days of rest, we'll take you back to Zanzibar airport, where you'll take a flight to Dar-es-Salaam or Kilimanjaro airport.

During these two days you'll stay at the Mnarani Beach Cottages Hotel.
