North Tanzania 8 Day Safari
North Tanzania 8 Day Safari
Day 1
We'll be waiting for you at the airport at the appointed time to take you to the hotel in Arusha. After you have settled in, you can take the day off and enjoy the view of the Tanzanian landscape, cool off in the swimming pool or rest until the next day.
Day 2
While we enjoy a delicious breakfast, we'll go over the route for the next few days with the safari guides. Then it will be time to get into the jeep and head towards the Lake Manyara National Park, an important wildlife area in Arusha. Here, you'll see the acacia forests and grasslands that surround this great African lake.
Among the wild animals that we'll see are the climbing lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards and even buffalo, all within a few meters of each other! As we cross the park, we'll reveal details about some of the exotic birds in the area. The day will end back at the hotel, where we'll have dinner and rest.
Day 3
We'll leave Lake Manyara and head into Serengeti, where we'll try to spot the elusive African wildebeest. Here in this great natural reserve, we'll have the opportunity to see many wild animals. Get your camera ready!
We'll play games before lunch and head back into the Serengeti National Park plains. After spending the afternoon crossing paths with zebras, rhinos and ostriches we'll head back to the hotel for dinner and rest.
Day 4 + 5
When the sounds of the birds wake us up, we'll have a delicious African breakfast and continue exploring Serengeti. Our main mission during the fourth and fifth days will be to watch the migration of wildebeests. From the jeep, we'll be able to watch the long line of wildebeests leaving the park in search of food.
Both days, after lunch, we'll rest for an hour before resuming our safari. The second half of the days will be dedicated to seeing how wildebeests, gazelles and zebras share their pasture - a unique sight! After an intense day of safari in the Serengeti, we'll return to the hotel.
Day 6
We'll get up at dawn and head to Ngorongoro, an important conservation area located in the crater of a volcano and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring the area seeing leopards and elephants, you can take a tour to Odulpai Gorge (not included) to see the remains of Africa's oldest hominids.
If you wish, you can also visit a Maasai tribe (not included) to learn more about the local culture. We'll stop for lunch and rest. Then in the afternoon continue exploring the Ngorongoro Park and settle into the hotel for dinner.
Day 7
The last day will be spent exploring the Tarangire National Park, known for its many African elephants. While on the jeep we'll enjoy the unique sighting of the elephants walking in herds among the baobabs - an unforgettable memory!
As we discover the peculiarities of these bushes that can reach thirty meters (98 feet) in height, we'll drive through the park towards Arusha. Our last stop will be the hotel, where we'll have dinner and spend the night.
Day 8
After picking up our luggage and having breakfast at the hotel, it will be time to say goodbye. We'll take you to the airport and this adventure through the African savannah will end.
