Pottuvil Lagoon Mangroves Private Boat Trip
Tour Description
We'll pick you up at the indicated time from your hotel in Arugam Bay and head by tuk-tuk to Pottuvil, town located in the district of Ampara with a lagoon surrounded by almost 200 acres of mangrove forest.
After a short 10-minute safety briefing, you'll embark on a 2-hour safari boat ride on the Pottuvil Lagoon. During the ride, the guide will tell you lots of interesting facts about the flora and fauna of this coastal area of Sri Lanka.
Throughout the trip, you'll be delighted by the presence of the different species that live in the lagoon: crabs, shrimps, a spectacle of colourful birds.... You'll even see elephants bathing and crocodiles swimming through the mangroves. It will certainly be a sight you'll remember forever.
After finishing the tour, we'll get back on the tuk-tuk to drop you off at your hotel after a 3-hour tour.
