Banana World Guided Tour
Banana World Guided Tour
At the indicated time we'll meet at the entrance of the Banana World, a plantation that offers visitors a complete look into how the most characteristic fruit of the Canary Islands is produced.
During the tour, we'll walk around the farm and see up to 30 different types of banana trees, some coming from as far away as Indonesia. We'll explain the characteristics of the Canary Island banana while we learn about how these crops in Gran Canaria are cared for on a daily basis.
We'll also visit the old farmhouse of the estate, which dates back to 1804 and houses an interpretation center that will allow us to delve deeper into the local banana culture.
After learning all the secrets of this precious fruit, we'll enter the Banana World store. There, we'll enjoy a tasting that includes a banana and different products made with this raw material. You'll be able to taste jams, cakes, and even shots!
After a 45-minute tour, we'll end the guided visit to the Banana World. You can leave the facilities or stay longer to explore the farm at your leisure. It's up to you!
