Paiva Valley Tour (3 hours)
At the selected time, we'll meet on the banks of the Paiva River and start an exciting jeep tour of the Paiva Valley. Are you ready for the adventure?
We'll get on the jeeps and go deep into the Paiva Valley. Thanks to the guide's explanations, we'll know all the interesting facts about the vegetation and wildlife in the area. We'll also discover all about the famous wooden walkways of the Paiva Passages, one of the most iconic hiking routes in Northern Portugal.
During the tour, which will last three hours, we'll have time to relax and stroll through the Paiva Valley. Also, we'll admire the Aguieiras Waterfall and visit the Geological Interpretation Center of Canelas, perfect to delve into this site's history.
At the end of the jeep tour, we'll head back to the starting point.
Serra da Freita Tour (3.5 hours)
In this tour, we'll meet at the indicated time at Parque de Arouca to start a jeep tour through the plateau of the emblematic Serra da Freita, over 1000 metres (3,280 feet) above sea level.
We'll discover the local geology and see Frecha da Mizarela, one of the largest waterfalls in Portugal. We'll also visit the Pedras Boroas and Pedras Parideiras Interpretative Centre. In addition, we'll enjoy majestic views of the Arouca Valley.
Finally, we'll bring the tour to an end after a total of 3.5 hours as we return to the meeting point in Arouca.
