Looking for a unique experience in Arouca? On this canyoning tour of the Paiva River, we'll enjoy an unforgettable day in Arouca Geopark, a wonderful natural spot unlike any other in Portugal!

Paiva River Canyoning Tour

At 9.30 am, we'll meet in front of the Câmara Municipal de Arouca to start this canyoning activity along the Paiva River. We have a day full of adventures ahead of us!

First, we'll walk for 30 minutes until we reach the bank of this river that runs through the Arouca Geopark. Once there, we'll distribute the canyoning equipment and we'll briefly go over the basic safety guidelines to carry out the tour. Ready?

After absorbing these rules, we'll go into the canyons of the Paiva River while we rappel, swim, and dive. The bravest among you will be able to jump from a height of 7, 10, or 12 meters. Dare to jump?

What's more, during the tour, we'll find magnificent waterfalls, natural pools and slides caused by water erosion.

Lastly, we'll end the canyoning activity at 3.30 pm back at the meeting point.
