At 11 am, we will meet up at Bolivar Square, in the heart of Armenia before heading to the outskirts of the city on public transport to visit the markets specialized in fruit and vegetables.
On the way, we will talk about the gastronomy of Colombia and the importance of these fresh products in its most typical dishes. You will discover some of the traditional products, such as the guava, lulo, and the passion fruit. Along the way, we will reveal all the secrets of Colombian fruit.
While we visit the markets of Armenia, we will discover the properties of each tropical fruit. We will also talk about the history of the city, nicknamed "the miracle city", from its origins to its most shocking episode: the 1999 Eje Cafetero earthquake.
To finish the experience in the best possible way, we will taste the most typical tropical fruits of Colombia. With this great taste in our mouths, we will end the tour of the Colombian fruit in Armenia at 2 pm.
