Every Friday, Puerto de Mogán, also known as “Small Venice”, accommodates one of the most popular open-air markets in Gran Canaria. Visit this scenic town while you enjoy some shopping.
Itinerary
Begin this half-day tour by boarding a comfortable air-conditioned bus and departing towards the southwest of Gran Canaria.
The bus will make a short stop at Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria to admire its sandy beaches, cliffs and tourist resorts. Continue the journey to Puerto de Mogán. Upon arrival, you will have time to explore the market and its stands at your own pace.
You will find a great variety of handicrafts, clothes, shoes, flowers and local food. As well as the market, you can make the most of this tour by visiting the Marina of Puerto de Mogán, a charming fishermen’s neighborhood with pretty and multicolored houses.
At lunch time, head to the wharf where the boats are docked. Here, you will find numerous restaurants, many of which offer typical food from the Canary Island, where you can eat at your own leisure. We recommend you try the fresh fish of the day.
In the afternoon you will be dropped off at your hotel.
Keep in mind
This excursion only includes return transfer service to and from Puerto de Mogán, stopping briefly on the way at Puerto Rico, in the south of Gran Canaria.
