After picking you up at the cruise terminal in the port of Argostoli at the indicated time, we'll leave the capital of Kefalonia and head towards the Monastery of Gerasimos. Did you know that Saint Gerasimos is the patron saint of the island?
After learning about the monastery's history, we'll head to the Drogarati Caves. The caves are famous for their spectacular acoustics, so much so that they've hosted numerous concerts, including international opera singer Maria Callas.
Next, we'll take you to visit Lake Melissani, an enchanting lagoon located inside a natural cave. We'll take a boat ride on the lagoon to see how the sunlight reflects off its turquoise waters, creating a truly magical sight.
Later, we'll make our way to the village of Aghia Efimia, where you'll have an hour of free time to get some lunch and explore the charming town. Afterwards, we'll stop at Myrtos Beach to admire the beautiful views of the Ionian Sea.
Finally, we'll conclude the tour at the port of Argostoli, where we'll arrive at 4:30 pm. Please note that if you want to take the ferry back to Zakynthos, the ship will depart at 5:30 pm, arriving at the island at 7 pm. Once you dock at the port of Zacinto, we'll take you to your accommodation on the island.
