Ithaca Tour
At 8 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Argostoli and head northeast until we reach the port of Sami, where we'll board a boat that will take us to the island of Ithaca. Let's discover the setting of Homer's Odyssey!
During the boat ride, we'll learn the stories and legends surrounding Ithaca, home of the legendary Greek hero Odysseus, also known as Ulysses. First, we'll arrive in Vathi, the capital of the island. Located in an enclosed bay, this small fishing village presents the most traditional architecture of the Ionian archipelago.
From here, we'll go to Kioni, but on the way, we'll anchor at a remote beach to enjoy a relaxing swim in the crystal clear waters that have become synonymous with Greece. Once we get to the island, we'll visit one of its most beautiful harbors and explore its streets decorated with flowers.
And we'll reach our final destination: Stravos. You'll stroll through its streets and you'll also have free time to have a drink in one of the local establishments in this small village of Ithaca. We'll go back to the port of Piso Aetos to sail back to Sami.
Lastly, we'll end this tour by dropping you back at your hotel in Argostoli at 4 pm.
