The wine from the Argentine province of Entre Ríos is known for its great quality. Discover it for yourself with this visit to the BordeRío winery, which includes a tasting of two of its products.
BordeRío Winery Tour
We'll begin our visit to the BordeRío winery by meeting at the time of your choice at the main entrance. This wine tourism center is located on the outskirts of Victoria, a city in the Argentine province of Entre Ríos that stands out for its great winemaking tradition.
During the tour, which will last an hour and a half, we'll visit the extensive vineyards of BordeRío and observe the different vines on which the grapes grow. We'll tell you all about the history of the company, the development of which could not be understood without European immigration, as it was the settlers from the Old Continent who started the first plantations.
The expansion of vineyards was such that, today, this area of South America is known as the "Bordeaux of Argentina". After visiting the vineyards, we'll continue our tour of the BordeRío winery in the barrel room, where we'll learn about the main humidity conditions that wine needs for optimal conservation.
We'll also talk about the different stages of winemaking and the techniques that have been used in this winery for decades. This knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation, following a tradition that goes back many years.
To conclude the visit, we'll participate in a tasting of two BordeRío wines. The first glass will be a wine made with Malbec grapes, while the second, depending on the season, will be a Merlot or Syrah.
