Arequipa & Viewpoints Tour
Arequipa & Viewpoints Tour
Having picked you up from your hotel in Arequipa at 9 am, we'll head to some of the most beautiful viewpoints in the White City: Yanahuara, Carmen Alto and Sachaca. We'll admire incredible views of Arequipa and its three volcanoes, Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu, from these spots.
After we've visited the viewpoints, we'll head to one of Arequipa's traditional districts. This would be Cayma, which is well-known for its picantería establishments that specialise in spicy food. We'll also stroll through the narrow streets in Cayma and admire its 17th-century church.
Our next stop will be in the historic centre, where we'll see the neoclassical façade on the Cathedral of Arequipa. While we take in its beauty, our guide will tell us some details about its construction, such as the fact that it was built with ashlar stone.
The tour will continue through the old part of the city and towards the traditional markets of San Camilo and Fundo el Fierro, where we'll find a variety of typical handicraft products.
We'll finish our tour at 1 pm at your hotel in Arequipa, or at a place of your choice in the city.
