Arequipa & Santa Catalina Monastery Tour
Arequipa & Santa Catalina Monastery Tour
After picking you up from your hotel at the selected time, we'll begin our guided tour of Arequipa. Throughout our tour, we'll explore its labyrinthine streets lined with sillar houses that have led to its nickname as the White City of Peru.
Our next stop will be in the Plaza de Armas, home to the historic Basilica Cathedral of Arequipa and the Jesuit Church. And we'll also see the Bronce y la Cabezona "Tambos" marketplaces, where barter was the traditional means of payment.
We'll then continue to the Monastery of Santa Catalina de Siena. In this large convent complex, we'll discover intriguing legends as we explore the impressive cloisters and beautiful gardens.
The tour will end back at your hotel or at your preferred point in the centre of Arequipa at 1 pm.
