We'll pick you up at 7 am at your hotel in Arequipa to begin our excursion to Querulpa and Chancaray. Ready for a journey into the region's past?
After a two-and-a-half-hour drive through the Majes Valley, we'll arrive at the Querulpa Jurassic Park. Surrounded by life-size dinosaurs, you'll feel like you're in one of the movies of the famous Spielberg saga! Here we'll go on a guided tour to discover real dinosaur footprints and ancient fossils found in excavations of the area.
Then, we'll head to the Chancharay spring, known for its miraculous waters. Area locals believe this spring has healing powers, especially regarding fertility. Bathe in its waters and experience its healing properties for yourself!
To complete this experience, we'll give you time to sit down for a typical Peruvian meal with shrimp, an area specialty, at a restaurant on the banks of the river.
After lunch, we'll return to Arequipa, where we'll arrive at 6 pm.
