At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa and head to the top of the Pichu Pichu Volcano in our minibus. As we climb our way up, we'll look out at breathtaking views of the area surrounding this extinct crater in the Cordillera Volcanica of southern Peru. This volcano towers at an altitude of 18, 182 feet (5,542 metres) high!
We'll then swap our minibus for bikes as we strap our helmets on and start cycling downhill for 19 miles (30 kilometres). Our route will take 4 hours as we pedal through the Pichu Pichu mountain range and feel the adrenaline coursing through our veins.
During the descent, we'll admire other volcanoes that surround Arequipa, such as the Misti or the Chachani volcanoes. The guide will also reveal facts about the different species of flora and fauna that we'll find along the way. If we're lucky, we might even see some llamas or alpacas!
Once this exciting part of the tour has come to an end, we'll hop back on the minibus and return to Arequipa. Our activity will come to an end after 5 hours 30 minutes of fun.
