Arenal Coffee & Chocolate Tour

At a time of your choice, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Arenal and take you to the North Field Coffe farm. There, we'll enjoy a tour to learn all about cocoa and coffee, ready?

First, we'll walk through the coffee plantation while they explain the processes of planting, harvesting and different practices of the plantation.

Afterwards, we'll go to the cocoa growing area, to learn about fermentation and drying, did you know that cocoa reduces stress?

We'll then see the peeling and roasting of the raw material and proceed to a delicious tasting of cocoa, coffee and sugar cane - a delight for the palate!

Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in Arenal after a 2 hour 30 minute experience.

Tuvimos la suerte de ser un grupo pequeño de 4 personas. El tour fue completamente en español. Nos impresionó la ignorancia que teníamos sobre el proceso de extracción del cacao. We were lucky to be a small group of 4 people. The tour was completely in Spanish. We were impressed by the ignorance we had about the cocoa extraction process. Rosbi was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and funny! Great English and Spanish. He exceeded my expectations and really impressed my family that I invited on the tour. I highly recommend this tour. This is my 3rd coffee tour and by far the best one to date.

Me molestó que ‘incluye recogida en hotel de La Fortuna’ pero no incluye ‘El Castillo de la Fortuna’ que es donde estamos hospedadas y tuvimos que llegar al sitio para el tour. Lo peor es que nadie me hizo descuento por ese servicio que se supone incluía el monto, y no usamos. SIN EMBARGO, salimos contentas. Excellent! It exceeded our expectations by a thousand. It bothered me that 'includes pickup at the La Fortuna hotel' but does not include 'El Castillo de la Fortuna' which is where we are staying and we had to get to the site for the tour. The worst thing is that no one gave me a discount for that service that was supposed to be included in the amount, and we didn't use it. HOWEVER, we left happy. Very complete tour, well-kept facilities, the guide Rusbi INCREDIBLE, good vibes, 100% explanatory. The PERFECT products to taste. Opinion translated. Show original.
