At your selected time on the day of the activity, we'll meet you at your selected meeting or pickup point, depending whether you've booked the tour with or without hotel pickup. This area in the province of Alajuela is characterised by its active volcanoes and tropical rainforests and we'll get to discover them up close!
We'll make our way through the rainforest walking along 16 bridges, six of them hanging bridges, ranging in length from five to 100 metres long. Some of them are up to 60 metres above the ground! The 3 kilometre route will take us through the treetops of the Costa Rican jungle, giving us spectacular views of the magnificent Arenal Volcano, the second most active volcano in Costa Rica.
During the tour, we'll have the opportunity to learn more about the plants and wildlife of the rainforest thanks to our guide. If we're lucky, we might get to see red frogs, monkeys and tropical birds!
At the end of the 2.5-tour of the hanging bridges, we'll take you back to your hotel in Arenal or say goodbye at the exit of the park, depending on the option you've booked.
Opening Times
Arenal Hanging Bridges Park is open from 8 am to 2 pm, with guided tours leaving every hour, except for the tour at 11 am. It is then open at 4:30 pm and 6 pm for special sunset and night tours. Which will you choose?
