What's in store:
Day 1
Our adventure begins at 1 pm when we gather at the Wotoch Aayin ecotourism center, also known as the "Crocodile House." Upon arrival, you'll savor a delicious traditional lunch to fuel up for the upcoming activities.
With satisfied appetites, it'll be time to embark on our first hiking expedition to visit the crocodile farm. During the visit, you'll get an up-close look at how these reptiles are cared for at Wotoch Aayin and learn about the center's sustainable environmental conservation efforts.
Afterward, enjoy some free time to unwind by the center's swimming pool. In the evening, we'll regroup for a night tour of the surrounding area to witness the mesmerizing light display created by fireflies—a truly enchanting sight!
As the day winds down, we'll gather around a campfire for dinner at the Wotoch Aayin restaurant.
Day 2
One of the highlights at Wotoch Aayin Center is watching the sunrise. We'll make sure to rise early to catch the first light of dawn and head to a lookout point that offers magical views of the sea, sure to leave you in awe!
From here, we'll embark on a kayaking adventure through the mangroves, observing the diverse birdlife that calls Isla Arena home. After working up an appetite, we'll return to the ecotourism center for a hearty breakfast.
Finally, at 1 pm, we'll say our goodbyes at the entrance of the Wotoch Aayin Center, with memories of 2 remarkable days.
