Finca Torremilanos Winery Tour + Tasting
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the entrance to the Finca Torremilanos to begin an exciting guided visit around its winery. Did you know that it was one of the founders of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin? Impressive!
Firstly, we'll visit its charming vineyards, which are home to more than 100 years of history, while we learn about the ecological growing process of the grape. Afterwards, we'll make our way towards the cooperage, where we'll be shown the traditional methods and materials involved in making the Torremilanos barrels. These skilled craftsmen, called coopers, are in charge of creating the perfect barrel for the wine-aging process.
We'll continue the tour by visiting the fermentation rooms to discover how the wines are made. After the theory part, the best part of this tour will commence. We'll enjoy a tasting of 4 wines accompanied by typical cold meats from this area in Burgos - the cherry on top!
After 1.5 hours together, we'll bring this activity to an end.
