See one of the main natural spectacles of northeastern Brazil on this excursion along the São Francisco River. A must if you're in Aracaju!
São Francisco River Excursion
We'll pick you up at 7 am at your hotel in Aracaju and take you to the São Francisco River. This river, also known as the Velho Chico, is one of the most famous bodies of water in northeastern Brazil.
When we reach the riverside area, we'll set sail on a pleasant boat ride on the river. On this trip along the Velho Chico, we'll admire the scenery and see the set locations of some famous series and movies, such as Deus é Brasileiro.
We'll continue the boat ride to the point where the São Francisco River meets the Atlantic Ocean. This is a remarkable spectacle of nature where we'll see mangroves, dunes, coconut trees, and river islands. From the boat, you'll be able to take incredible photos of all these landscapes.
After checking out the mouth of the river, we'll continue our journey to a beautiful unspoiled beach where you can take a refreshing dip. As the swim is sure to whet your appetite, we'll head next to a restaurant where you'll have a free hour for lunch.
Finally, we'll sail back to the point from which we set sail and then return to Aracaju, where arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 6 pm.
