Caueira Beach & Tambaquis Lagoon Excursion

We'll pick you up at 7:30 am at your hotel in Aracaju and take you to the tourist area of Praia Caueira, located just 40 kilometers from the capital of Sergipe.

When we arrive at this popular beach in northeastern Brazil, you'll have about three hours of free time to have a drink and relax on the sand. If you want, you can even try your hand at water sports like surfing, bodyboarding, snorkeling, or diving. Or, if you prefer, join a buggy tour!

From Praia Caueira we'll continue the excursion to Lagoa dos Tambaquis. The moment we look into the transparent waters of this lake, we'll see huge fish measuring up to 50 centimeters (20 inches) long.

In the company of these animals, we'll learn about the main feeding, breeding, and reproductive habits of tambaqui fish. Did you know that this species is the second-largest freshwater fish in Latin America?

After visiting Lagoa dos Tambaquis, we'll return to your hotel in Aracaju, where we'll arrive at 4:30 pm.
