At the indicated time, we'll meet at number 191 Jan van Rijswijcklaan and, once we're all together, we'll get on a bus to leave Antwerp behind and start our tour. Ready to travel to the Netherlands? Let's get started!
First, we'll head to Zaanse Schans, considered one of the most beautiful villages in the Netherlands. It'll feel like we're stepping back in time as we stroll among its famous windmills and traditional wooden houses, which date back to the 17th and 18th centuries.
After learning about the historical importance of the Zaanse Schans windmills, we'll visit a clog workshop. There, a master shoemaker will give us a demonstration of how these wooden shoes are made, a beautiful typical Dutch craft.
We'll continue the tour by visiting a cheese dairy, where we'll enjoy an exquisite tasting of Dutch cheeses. We'll taste everything from creamy Gouda to tasty varieties with aromatic herbs!
Next, we'll head to the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens. Prepare to marvel at a display of colors and scents as you stroll among countless rows of flowers.
Here, you'll have 2 to 3 hours of free time to wander and admire the blooming tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and other spring bulbs, that create a breathtaking natural spectacle.
Finally, we'll return to our starting point in Antwerp, where we'll arrive after 10 hours of sightseeing.
