At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Grote Markt, right by the iconic Brabo Fountain. The name of this square, which translates to "Big Market", perfectly captures its importance as Antwerp's central square—the ideal starting point for this delicious adventure!
From the get-go, we’ll admire the stunning Renaissance architecture surrounding the square, including the magnificent Town Hall. Accompanied by our guide, we’ll delve into the city’s history and learn about its famous foods.
Throughout the tour, we’ll enjoy 5 tastings of some of Antwerp’s finest offerings, including rich chocolates, crispy waffles, savoury meats, cheeses, fries, and of course, Belgian beer.
As we savour these delicacies, we’ll also discover the city’s historic landmarks. Highlights include the medieval Vleeshuis Museum, the grand Antwerp Cathedral, the charming alley of Vlaeykensgang, and the lively Groenplaats square.
