At the indicated time, we'll start this bike tour of Antwerp at the Vleminckstraat.
After a brief introduction, we'll start cycling through the picturesque historic centre of Antwerp. The first stage will take us around the Cathedral of Our Lady. Did you know that its bell tower is one of the tallest in Flanders? And no wonder since this 123-metre (403-foot) tower is visible from all over the city.
After admiring this jewel of Brabant Gothic architecture, we'll continue our cycling tour on the Grote Markt. In this central square, we'll admire the façade of Antwerp City Hall, where we'll look at its many details. The next stop is on the banks of the Scheldt, where the impressive Steen Castle stands.
We'll continue our tour through the Het Eilandje harbour district, where we'll see the avant-garde exterior architecture of the Museum aan de Stroom. After appreciating its design, we'll go to the Antwerp Central Station. Such is its beauty that it's considered Belgium's railway cathedral.
Finally, after a 2-hour ride, we'll conclude the bike tour by returning to the meeting point.
