Aloe Vera Farm Tour
Description
The tour begins at the entrance to the Verdeaurora Bio Farm, an aloe vera farm located on the outskirts of Antigua in Fuerteventura. Here you'll discover all there is to learn about the most typical plant from the Canary Islands.
On this tour you'll get a close look at what is sustainable farming, while walking through Verdeaurora Bio Farm. You'll enjoy fields of aloe vera and olive trees, and see various fruit trees, all products typical to the island of Las Palmas. You'll learn how they care for the various crops, and animals on the farm, creating an even harmony throughout the grounds.
Ending the walkabout, a workshop is offered to learn how to harvest the aloe vera leaves and create your very own aloe vera cream to take home. An excellent sourvenir! Paired with an olive oil-tasting, you'll learn the numerous ways these two things can contribute to your overall well-being. What an invigorating way to end a tour!
