Antigua Guatemala Viewpoints Tour
Tour Description
We'll meet at the indicated time at the Tanque La Unión, from where we'll head towards the best viewpoints in Antigua Guatemala. Get ready to see breathtaking views!
After a 5-kilometre (3.1 miles) route, we will reach the first viewpoint: Cerro San Cristobal. Located in the small village of San Cristóbal el Alto, this place offers a fabulous panoramic view of the plantations and the valley surrounding Antigua Guatemala. It also has a charming restaurant and trails that you can explore while enjoying the surroundings.
Next, we'll head to the northern end of Antigua Guatemala to visit the popular Cerro de La Cruz, a must-see! This viewpoint will give us beautiful views of the city with the imposing Volcán de Agua in the background—this is the perfect spot to snap some pictures!
Afterwards, we'll descend to return to the vehicle and continue to Aldea El Hato, an Indigenous village on the top of a hill. Here, depending on your preference, we'll visit the Altamira viewpoint or the popular Hobbitenango viewpoint—it's up to you!
At either of these two points, you'll get an overwhelming view of the volcanic line of the area. You'll be able to see the Volcán de Agua, the Acatenango Volcano, the Volcán de Fuego and the Pacaya Volcano. Can you imagine the panoramic view of this place?
After a total of 5 hours, we'll finish the tour back at the initial meeting point.
