Day Trip to El Paredón Beach + Surf Lesson
Tour Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Antigua, we'll leave the colonial city behind and make our way to the Pacific Coast. Are you ready to enjoy one of Guatemala's top beaches? Let's go!
After approximately 2 hours, we'll arrive at the coastal town of El Paredón, in Buena Vista. We'll then head to the hotel in front of the beach, where you'll have access to enjoy its facilities for the entire day.
Once settled in, we'll grab our surfboards and meet our instructor, who will begin our surf lesson with a brief theory lesson and tell us about the distinctive waves of El Paredón. You'll learn how to catch waves, stand on your boards, keep your balance, and even how to fall in the water. You're in for a pretty thorough class!
Now, it's time to get in the water and put what you've learned into practice! Did you know that the Pacific Coast up to El Paredón is considered one of the best places to learn how to surf?
Once finished with our surf lesson, we'll return to the hotel restaurant to enjoy a well-deserved delicious breakfast. The rest of the day, you'll have the hotel facilities at your disposal to keep enjoying El Paredón. You can also keep practicing with your surfboard for as long as you like.
We'll then start our journey back and drop you off at your hotel in Antigua Guatemala 12 hours after the start of our day trip.
