Antequera Tour + Tickets
We'll meet at the museum of the dolmens of Antequera. From this place, we'll start a very complete tour in which we'll discover the main monuments of the city.
Our first stop will be to visit the dolmens of Menga and Viera. Did you know that this is one of the most important archaeological sites of European megalithic art? We'll explore the interior of these prehistoric temples and we'll reveal all their secrets.
Afterward, we'll go to the Coso Viejo square, located in the heart of the historic center of the city. Then, we'll enter the Collegiate Church of San Sebastian to admire its beautiful details and learn about the history of two of the most influential people of the city. We'll head to the highest part of Antequera to visit the Alcazaba from the outside, the size of its walls will leave you speechless!
In this area, we'll also have the chance to admire the Royal Collegiate Church of Santa María la Mayor, which is remarkable for its grandiose façade, and the Roman baths. The latter operated from the second half of the 1st century A.D. until late in the 5th century. If you opt for the morning tour, we'll also go to the City of Antequera Museum.
We'll finish the tour of Antequera going down along the castle walls until we return to Coso Viejo Square, where we'll have a tasting of typical products of Antequera in a shop.
