Lagoa Azul Boat Ride + Ilha Grande Beaches
At 11 am we'll meet at Estação de Santa Luzia, in the center of Angra dos Reis. At the pier, we'll set off on an incredible boat ride through this paradise in the state of Rio de Janeiro. All aboard!
Our first destination will be Cataguás, a small island whose strip of white sand and crystal clear waters make it one of the best beaches in Angra dos Reis. Here you can relax and take a dip.
Next, we'll head to the natural aquarium of Lagoa Azul. Did you know that its name was inspired by the famous 80s film The Blue Lagoon? You'll be amazed by the intense blue hue of its waters, which make you feel like you're in the Caribbean. It'll be super easy to see the marine life that inhabits its seabed! After a refreshing dip in this paradisiacal place, we'll continue our boat ride.
The next stop will be Ilha Grande, where we'll visit three of its majestic beaches. First, we head to Praia de Grumixama, a small and deserted cove perfect for a pleasant swim.
Afterward, we'll move on to Praia do Araça, also located on Ilha Grande. This simple and quiet beach, surrounded by large rocks and a preserved endemic forest, will have you falling in love from the moment we arrive!
Then, we'll get back on the boat and make our way to Praia das Flechas, a beach where the lush vegetation of the Atlantic Forest creates an emerald green reflection on the water, a beautiful sight. Then, we'll take a break for you to have lunch on your own.
After five hours of activity, we'll return to the starting point to finish our tour of Lagoa Azul and the beaches of Ilha Grande.
