Terceira Food Tour
At the indicated time we'll pick you up at your hotel in Angra do Heroísmo to start an incredible food tour of the island of Terceira.
First, we'll head towards São Mateus da Calheta, the largest town on the island. There we'll visit the Lonja de Pescado, the fish market where we'll learn all about the fishing industry. Afterward, we'll visit the whaling museum, the perfect place to taste seafood and fresh fish.
We'll continue the gastronomic tour traveling to the Parish of Cinco Ribeiras, where we'll stop at a local cheese factory to taste different cheeses and breads typical of the Azores. Bon appetit!
With our palates satisfied, we'll drive along the coast of Terceira towards the Parish of Serreta, where we'll go to a restaurant for a delicious meal including the island's most typical dish, alcatra, as well as sausages, pork, sweet potato, and corn cakes.
After this stop, we'll head to the wine region of Biscoitos where, if you wish, you can visit a winery on your own to taste its exquisite wines and liqueurs. Fancy something sweet? Our next stop will be at Quinta dos Açores to taste its typical ice cream!
Finally, we'll return to your hotel in Angra do Heroísmo, where the food tour of Terceira will end after eight hours of activity.

This activity only includes pickup at hotels located in the center of Angra do Heroismo. If you are staying outside of this area, we'll pick you up at the following meeting point: Alto das Covas Square, in front of the Infante Dom Henrique School.
