At the selected time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start the panoramic tour of Angra do Heroísmo. Ready to discover what the capital of Terceira has to offer?
We'll board a minibus for a comfortable 13-kilometer tour through the streets of this World Heritage City. We'll start by strolling around the Rua da Sé. This is the main avenue of Angra, where several leisure establishments and restaurants are located.
While we listen to the guide's explanations, we'll visit must-see places such as the Praça Velha, a beautiful Renaissance-style square, or the church of the Santísimo Salvador da Sé, this city's cathedral.
Throughout the panoramic tour, we'll make two 10-minute stops so that you can fully appreciate the beauty of the landscape. The first stop will be at the Pico das Cruzinhas viewpoint, located on one of the peaks of Monte Brasil, next to Pico do Facho, Pico do Vigia, and Pico do Zimbreiro.
The second stop will be at the Alto da Memoria viewpoint, from where there is a fantastic view of the city that will help us to locate the rest of the monuments. Did you know that this pyramid was built in the 19th century by King Pedro IV? We'll all about its history.
At the end of the tour, we'll visit a local store where you can buy some regional products, such as cheeses and liquors.
After two hours of touring the city, we'll finish the activity and drop you back at your hotel in Angra do Heroísmo.
