We'll meet at Piazza Duomo at the scheduled time. From there, we'll begin our journey towards the historic and famed town of Andria.
As we discover the history and peculiarities of Underground Andria we'll learn about the different churches and ancient cisterns.
At Largo Grotte and in the neighbourhood of Fellecchia we'll be told the sad story of the caves of Andria, hidden in the 50s and about which the elderly locals still talk and recount stories and little details.
We'll then descend even further to around 12 metres into an ancient cistern. We'll discover both the origins and uses of these rediscovered and renovated caves, as we begin to understand an important part of Andria's history.
Finally, we'll arrive at one of the most iconic spots: the Andria Cathedral, whose origin dates back to the 12th century. After delighting in the details of its impressive façade, we'll make our way down another 4 or 5 metres into the crypt, where its history will be revealed to us.
After around 2 hours, we'll bring this private tour of Underground Andria to an end.
