Description
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from the meeting point of your choice. We'll then set off by bus to discover the history of electricity in Andorra.
The first stop on our itinerary will be at the MW Electricity Museum. Here, we'll travel back in time to learn about the beginnings of electricity production in the country and how it contributed to its development.
We'll then follow the Engolasters hydroelectric route to learn about another form of electricity production, visiting the Lake Engolasters Dam to find out how water is used as a source of energy.
Afterwards, we'll enjoy the beautiful views from the lake, located at an altitude of 1620 meters, before heading to the Romanesque Church of Sant Miquel d'Engolasters, home to the second-highest bell tower in the whole principality. From here, you'll have a breathtaking view of the valley of Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany.
Finally, we'll take you back to the meeting points, where we'll arrive between 1:50 pm and 2 pm.
