Offroading Experience through the Algarve
We'll pick you up from your hotel to kick start our exciting offroading experience through the Algarve. Our guide will take care of all the driving so you can enjoy the experience completely hands-free. This way, you can get the best photos while enjoying the panoramic views!
Our first stop is in front of the Santa Catarina Fortress, Portimão's main bastion. As we take in the immensity of this medieval stronghold, we'll learn about the region's rich history and the strategic importance of this type of defensive construction, which was vital for the protection of Portugal's southern coast.
Next up, we'll leave Portimão in the dust in exchange for the small town of Ferragudo. Here in this picturesque fishing town, we'll gain insight into the maritime history of the region, which boasts a rich and layered history of great sailors and explorers.
Following the visit, we'll set our sights a little more inland to arrive at Silves. This rural Algarve town is perfect for winding through the many vineyards that make up the region. For anybody jonesing to sample, here we can make a stop to indulge in a wine tasting of regional products. From there, we'll move on to see one of the most well-preserved Arab castles in the area.
Then, from Silves, we'll bring you back to your hotel, arriving about 4 hours later.
