Admire the most incredible views of the Alentejo region on this sunset cruise along the Alqueva Lake - it'll be a completely magical experience.
Alqueva Lake Sunset Cruise
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Alqueva reservoir and hop on a boat to sail on this impressive artificial lake at sunset.
As soon as we leave, we'll learn some interesting facts about this dam, which was built in 2002. For example, did you know that it's the largest in the whole Western European region?
During the tour, we may spot great bustards, cranes, or black storks, as they usually fly over the area. The guide will tell us stories about the village, its traditions. What's more, we'll also have the chance to listen to an Alentejo song.
Anyone hungry? You're in luck, it's time for a snack! Aboard we'll enjoy a snack consisting of olives, bread, and white wine. What's more, if the temperature is good, you'll be able to dive into the waters of the Guadiana River before sunset.
After an hour and a half sailing the lake, we will return to the starting point, ending the tour.
