Alice Springs Guided Tour
Alice Springs Guided Tour
At 1:50 pm, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin this tour of Alice Springs, the gateway to the Red Centre, Australia's most famous desert region.
The first stop of the day will be at the Alice Springs Air School - do you know what's so special about it? It was one of the first schools in the world to offer distance learning via radio back in the 1950s.
Next, we'll head to the Alice Springs Telegraph Station, one of the places that allowed the town to be connected to other parts of Australia such as Darwin and Adelaide for more than 60 years.
Afterwards, we'll visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service to learn about the importance of this centre in providing medicines to some of the most isolated areas of the country and discover some of the most curious stories!
Our final stop will be the Reptile Centre, where we'll meet some of the most amazing species that live in Australia: crocodiles, pythons, goannas and many more reptiles await you!
Then we'll take a panoramic tour of Alice Springs to discover its most special corners, which extend over 400 kilometres, from the top of Anzac Hill, a viewpoint from where you'll get unparalleled views.
