Alicante Bike Tour
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at number 1 of Cienfuegos street, in the heart of the old town, where we will start this bike tour in Alicante.
After choosing our bikes, we'll pedal through the most iconic sights of Alicante. We'll start exploring the Santa Cruz neighborhood, passing by its hermitage located on the slopes of Mount Benacantil.
We'll also ride through the center to see the co-cathedral of San Nicolas and the basilica of Santa Maria, formerly a Muslim mosque converted into a Christian church. We'll continue along the Postiguet beach, from where you can admire the castle of Santa Barbara, and the esplanade of Spain, the first promenade of Alicante, built in the 60s. Here we can also see its mosaic composed of over six million pieces of different colors.
We'll continue the bike tour walking through several squares and well-known monuments such as the Puerta del Mar, the town hall, or the theater. The last point of the visit will be the Central Market, where we will discover its history before returning to the meeting point.
Lastly, we'll finish the tour between two and two and a half hours after the start of the tour.
