On the day of the activity, we'll convene at the specified time on Via dei Fenicotteri and set off on a horseback adventure along Porto Ferro Beach and Lake Baratz.
Our journey unfolds in the lush surroundings of Lake Baratz, Sardinia's only natural freshwater lake. This serene oasis welcomes you with crystal-clear waters and distinctive landscapes—th perfect photo op!
As we traverse the lake's shores, we'll guide you along paths meandering through a pine forest. The trail unfolds to reveal the hidden beauties of the area, with the most exceptional moment being the transition from the forest to the sand dunes. Are you ready?
The dunes of Porto Ferro Beach will gradually come into view, reaching heights of up to 5 meters (16.4 feet). Ascending the dunes, the shimmering ocean on the horizon will greet us.
Beginning our descent, we continue the journey along the spectacular Porto Ferro beach, where three imposing 17th-century watchtowers stand tall on the shore. These silent witnesses to regional history add a touch of mystery to the horseback riding experience.
Wrapping up our beach ride, we head back through the forest. By the end of the two-hour journey, we will have covered a total of 7 kilometers (4 miles) through Porto Ferro beach and Lake Baratz.
